1982/1984Electric personal computer installed with thermal print technology

The electric personal printer EP-20 was released in 1982. It was a revolutionary product powered by batteries, with a thermal print head and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) installed in the body, which made it more compact than conventional products.
Furthermore, 1984 saw the release of Picoword, a word processor with a kanji (Chinese character) conversion function.
