Can I take photos in the Brother Museum?
It is allowed to take photos except the areas marked "No photos."
Can I eat and drink in the Brother Museum?
Drinking is allowed only in the atrium space, but no eating is allowed in the museum.
What are the museum hours?
The museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00.
When is the museum closed?
We are closed on Sundays, public holidays, Japanese Golden Week holidays, summer holidays, year-end and New Year holidays.
Please note that in addition to the above holidays the Brother Museum is closed to the public when it is reserved for private events or other purposes. Please check the opening dates on the museum calendar.
How much is admission to the museum?
The museum is free to the public.
Can I visit the Brother Museum without a reservation?
No reservation is required except for groups of 10 or more and school excursions.
Is parking available?
Yes, we have a parking lot with a capacity of 3 large buses or 11 cars.
Does the facility have wheelchair access?
Yes, the facility is designed for barrier-free access, equipped with a wheelchair accessible ramp and restroom.
What is the capacity of the Brother Museum?
The museum can accommodate up to 100 visitors at one time, and the Communication Hall (a video theater) can hold 80 people.
How long does it take to tour the museum?
It takes about one hour.
What are exhibited in the Brother Museum?
We exhibit antique sewing machines around the world, including a replica of the world's very first sewing machine, and Brother's historical flagship products and latest products, including its first sewing machine. You can try out Brother's latest products displayed at the Product Zone.
How long is the Brother Group corporate profile video?
Our corporate video is approximately 8 minutes.
Is the video available in any language other than Japanese?
Yes, it's also available in English.
Can I take a field trip to the museum?
Yes, we accept field trip reservations.
May children visit the Brother Museum without an adult supervisor?
Children aged 6 and older may visit without adult supervision. However, children aged 5 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Do you sell Brother products at the Brother Museum?
No, we do not sell any Brother products here. For information on where to purchase Brother products, contact your local Brother office or mass retailers.
